The North American Aviation Rockwell OV-10 Bronco is a turboprop light attack and observation aircraft. It was developed in the 1960s as a special aircraft for counter insurgency combat, and one of its primary missions was as a forward air control aircraft. It can carry up to three tons of external munitions, and loiter for three or more hours.

This highly modified Supercub flown by Jay Claus, managed to take off in just 39 feet at the 2007 Valdez May Day Short Field Takeoff and Landing Contest. His dad flew the Carbon Cub which lifted off in the winning run of only 19 feet
These lightweight planes need some getting used to when completing loops inside and out. Turns on a dime, rudder is very effective. Low mass inertia is featherlike for this woodie making it pretty safe from catostrophic damage when boinked in. Huge flight controls are a saving grace when in trouble as you will see in the vid. Needs very little elevation to recover. Economical and easy to build
